Laura Mae Ordoyne Dunstane

A homemaker and resident of Port Allen, she died Monday morning, Oct. 17, 2011 at her home. She was 91 and a native of LaRose. Visiting at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Allen on Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Miles Walsh, celebrant. Interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery in LaRose at 2 p.m. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Edward Villien, Abbeville; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Jr. and Colleen Dunstane, Alexandria; four grandchildren, Heidi Dunstane Walsh and husband John, Gretchen Dunstane McCurley and husband Lee, Brandon Trent and wife Erin, and Heather Trent; and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Richard Dunstane Sr.; parents, Gus Joseph and Rose Ann Plaisance Ordoyne; four brothers, Claude, Guy, Louis and Wilton Ordoyne; daughter-in-law, Birgit M. Dunstane; and grandson, Kevin Paul Dunstane. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and Holy Family Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
