A native of Brantley, Alabama and resident of Plaquemine, he passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at his residence. He was 67, a retired boat captain. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Patricia S. Hall; 2 daughters, Darla Hall and Joyce Ann Hall; 3 sons, James Hall, Jr., Daniel Hall and wife Pam, and Jason Hall; 1 sister, Joanie Hall; 1 brother, Richard Haselden; 1 step-brother, Anthony Haselden; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his daughter, Birdie M. Hall; father, Ewell C. Hall; parents, Foy May and James Haselden. He was an avid fisherman who also loved to take care of his yard. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
